    Manager for the Baltimore Orioles (1991-94) and the Texas Rangers (1995-2001)

    He played on five different teams during his playoff career.
    He was injury prone throughout his career.
    He was one of the first casualties the Orioles made under owner Peter Angelos.
    Despite guiding the Rangers to three playoff appearances, his teams only posted a 1-9 record.
    He was fired by the Rangers after the team free-fell dramatically following their 1999 playoff berth.
    He guided the Rangers to the first playoff berth in franchise history.
