Football Player
    (February 15, 1960- )
Played for the Washington Redskins (1983-2002)
    7-time Pro Bowler
Only undefeated multiple participant in the NFL's Fastest Man competition
Everson Walls, Ronnie Lott and Deion Sanders overshadowed him for much of his career.
At 5'8, big receivers had a distinct height advantage over him.
The heading for the Darrell Green Enterprises website says ‘The Man, The Legend.'
He is widely regarded as the fastest player to ever play in the NFL, winning the Fastest Man competition 4 times and is the only undefeated winner in history.
He was named the World's Fastest Athlete in 1991.
As a sprinter at Texas A&I, the only man who beat him in the 100 was Olympic gold medalist Carl Lewis.
In his prime, he ran an unofficial 4.09 40-yard dash, and at age 40, he still ran a 4.2.
As a rookie, he ‘walked down' future Hall of Famers Tony Dorsett and Eric Dickerson. They both later said he was the only person to ever catch them from behind in the open field.
The term ‘shut-down cornerback' was invented because of him, not Deion Sanders.
Unlike Sanders and other elite cover-cornerbacks, he was physical and tackled.
Despite his size, he was the first cornerback to shut down Randy Moss one-on-one, holding him to 5 receptions for 64 yards.
After his final game, he told his teammates: ‘As you are on your way to stardom and fame, don't forget to produce a life that is more than just football.'
He played a skilled position into his 40's, and for only one franchise.
He is the Chairman of the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation.
