    Hellcat Records dropped them because they were too political.
    They then wrote a song in which they bashed the label owner, Tim Armstrong, and his band Rancid.

    Brandon died from an alcohol and drug overdose (December 17, 2004).
    They are on Jello Biafra's record label.
    When several record store chains asked them to have alternate art work for their album, 'Fuck World Trade,' they refused causing the album to be banned from almost all major record stores.

    All of the members are in several other bands and they call the group of bands 'The Crack Rock Steady 7.'
    The artwork for their album, 'Fuck World Trade' showed a picture of the World Trade Center during the 911 attacks with Rudy Giuliani holding a control for an airplane, George W. Bush holding a gas pump and Dick Cheney with matches.
    The original artwork for their album 'Mediocre Generica' was of the Columbine school shooters Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold.
    They have an obsession with Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold and wrote a song about school shootings in their honor.
    'Mediocre Generica' was released on September 11, 2001 and they have been using it to push their message.
    Many fans take their message too seriously.
    They mix ska, punk, rockabilly, surf, and hardcore to create an original sound.
    Their song 'Gay Rude Boys Unite' is against homophobes in the hardcore scene.
    They are anti-racism and wrote a song called 'Nazi White Trash' to attack neo-nazis.
    They have worked with The Distillers, Anti-Flag, and Rancid.
    They are not afraid to speak their mind.
