    He divorced his first wife after a decade-long marriage.
    He was killed in an avalanche, while on a skiing trip.
    In 2004, he wrote a story in the Los Angeles Times about skiing saying ‘any excursion into the mountains requires awareness. Have fun, but be careful.’
    'Mad Men' decided to kill his character in a plane crash after he died.
    His tv career lasted over 40 years.
    He was a versatile actor who played both good guys and bad guys.
