    It was a movie filming location for 'Dumb and Dumber.'

    It hosts the largest independent film festival in the country.
    The Utah Olympic Park was used for the 2002 Winter Olympics and is also used as a training center for winter athletes.
    Winter Olympic medalist bobsledder Steven Holcomb was born here.
    Forbes Traveler Magazine labeled it as one of the country's '20 Prettiest Towns' (2008).
    Its population skyrocketed when silver and gold were discovered in the Wasatch Mountains from the late 19th century to the early 20th century.
    As a mountain bike community, it has been named as North America's Gold-level Ride Center by the International Mountain Bicycling Association.
    It has Northern Utah's largest collection of factory outlet stores.
