    It has been invaded many times throughout its history.
    The average maximum temperature regularly exceeds 40°C in June.
    The festival Vasantha is responsible for a few deaths related to kite-flying competitions, so local authorities have banned kite flying.

    It is Pakistan's largest software and hardware producing center.
