Actress
    (June 18, 1946- )
    Born in London, United Kingdom
    Birth name was Carol Hirsch
Appeared in the films 'Not Tonight, Darling' (1971), 'Lust for a Vampire' (1971), 'Twins of Evil' (1971), 'The Flesh and Blood Show' (1972), 'Old Drac' (1974), 'The Devil's Men' (1976), 'The Wildcats of St. Trinians' (1980) and 'Pacific Banana' (1981)
Appeared in episodes of 'Z Cars,' 'Dr. Who,' 'Coronation Street,' 'Fawlty Towers' and 'The Bill'
She originally started as a singer, using the name Karol Keyes.
She fronted the band 5000 Volts, but the actual vocals on their records were recorded by Tina Charles.
When the producer of one of her early films referred to her '42-inch bust,' she indignantly protested that she had only a 37-inch bust.
She complained, 'My looks have been a handicap. If a plain looking girl walks into a studio, they say 'She must be able to act.; But if you're a pretty girl, you just decorate the set.'
She turned down a suggestion from impresario Gordon Mills that she change her name to Delilah Jackson to capitalize on the Tom Jones hit 'Delilah.'
She chose her (eventual) stage name in honor of actress Jean Peters.
She appeared naked or topless in most of her films, giving a determined fan several chances to settle the 37/42 inch controversy.
She also went topless for the West End plays 'Pyjama Tops' and 'Decameron '73.'
She came out of retirement to be interviewed about one of her more famous roles -- as the guest repeatedly, if accidentally, groped by Basil Fawlty -- in 'Fawlty Towers Revisisted.' (2005)
