The Resume

Why Saved By The Bell might be annoying:

The entire gang and principal were in Junior High School in Indiana, but all turned up in a California High School.
It seemed as if the kids ran the school.
Jessie Spano was named by FHM as one of the 'most hated characters in television history.'
It seems to be on in syndication at any given time.
It gave elementary and middle schoolers the illusion that high school was the land of milk and honey.
The kids never seemed to be held accountable for their actions.
Its spinoff 'Saved By The Bell: The College Years' was a flop.

Why Saved By The Bell might not be annoying:

It introduced some of the more memorable TV characters (Screech, Zack, Mr. Belding).
It did tackle some serious issues that face young people (drug use, sexual harassment, teen suicide).
All of the original cast members still keep in close touch.
