The Resume

    (July 27, 1872-April 15, 1912)
Born in Mexico Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico
Former lawyer and politician in Mexico
Exiled from the country after the fall of the Diaz government
Known for being one of the people on board the Titanic (April 15, 1912)
Body was never recovered after the sinking

Why he might be annoying:

He had a very strenuous long name that was very difficult to pronounce.
    He had seven children.
He always sported a Charlie Chaplin moustache.
His hair was always slick and greasy.
He was a fan of bowties. (See picture).
He had traveled to Europe to visit his companions and learn about the Spanish courts, for which he left with few resources and his return trip to Mexico would be on a normal ship, but a friend of his changed his ticket for a first class ticket on the Titanic. (He could of avoided that ticket from his friend and just went on a normal ship).
Elizabeth Ramell Nye, who begged to be included in the lifeboat, claimed that her husband and son were waiting for her in New York, but she was never married and had no children. (So that means that Uruchurtu died to save a lying woman's life).

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was of Mexican descent.
It was known to be that he was the only Hispanic passenger of his nationality to board the Titanic (1912).
He gave up his place in a lifeboat to an English woman named Elizabeth Ramell Nye during the Titanic shipwreck. (Now that was very heroic of him).
There's a folktale story that he sent a telegram to his wife Gertrudis Caraza y Landero, to let her know that he was traveling along this 'unsinkable' ship, which of course was the Titanic, the next news was that it was told that there was gonna be a shipwreck and that it was gonna sink underwater. (His body was never found).
He was a lawyer and also a politician.
He was a Senator of Mexico who was in office (1910-1912).
In the photo up top, you can see he is standing next to a painting of the Titanic. (So beautiful, but also so sad at the same time, that he went through a horrific death on that ship).
He was a well known writer who wrote 5 books, all in Spanish.
    He was also a teacher.
He was a federal congressman over four times.
He was in the military before he became a lawyer.
His wife Gertrudis Caraza y Landero died on January 27, 1916; according to family lore, she died of grief due to the lost of her husband.
