The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

His company repped for Seether and Meat Loaf.
He physically resembles George Liquor from The Ren & Stimpy Show.
Country singer Austin Rick accused him of sexual assault, which included drugging and rape, over a period of several years.
Several former employees came out to publicly accuse him of harassing his employees in a workplace setting.
He was accused of propositioning one employee for sex while he was working as an intern in 2010.
He was accused of asking for oral sex in exchange for meet-and-greets with Dolly Parton.
Dolly Parton was strongly criticized by many - including sister Stella Parton - for posing with him at the Country Music Awards shortly after the allegations broke (while many just publicly wondered why he was attending in the first place).
His website bio reads: 'Like the Wizard of Oz, [Kirt] has masterfully worked the dials behind the screens to illuminate his chosen land of the fantastic and the fanciful with bombastic bursts of eventful and often awe-inspiring sound and lights' (yeah, really).

Why he might not be annoying:

He expanded his firm beyond the Country music genre.
He scored a major win by signing Hank Williams, Jr. to Webster in 2002.
He was a longtime friend of Johnny and June Carter Cash
He was named one of the most successful business men in Nashville under the age of 40 in 2009.
He was dumped by virtually all his big-name clients, including Kid Rock and Billy Ray.
He started the now-common music tie-in for country music artists and Cracker Barrel.
He was key to re-teaming Dolly Parton with Kenny Rogers in the mid-2000s.
He orchestrated the 'Smoky Mountain Rise' telethon, which raised more than $10 million dollars for those affected by Tennessee wildfires, and which won an Emmy award.
