Why he might be annoying:

He looks like Andy Warhol.
He made the comment that 'women should be all dressed white like all other domestic appliances' in reference to Danica Patrick.
In a 2000 interview with Autosport Magazine, he said that he wouldn't allow a woman to compete in Formula 1 but if he did `she would have to be a woman who was blowing away the boys. ... What I would really like to see happen is to find the right girl, perhaps a black girl with super looks, preferably Jewish or Muslim, who speaks Spanish.'
He refused to compromise with the majority of the drivers who wanted a chicane added to the track to reduce the risk of tires failing before the 2005 US Grand Prix in Indianapolis, Indiana.
As a result 14 out of 20 drivers withdrew before the race, upsetting the fans in attendance and the track promoter.
Most Formula 1 fans hate his guts.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was one of the pioneers of the sale of television rights, doing so in the early 1970's.
He ran a successful Formula 1 team.
He tried racing before being injured in an accident.
