Why he might be annoying:

He specifically lists outside cigar smoke as a favorite scent (yucck).
Perhaps not surprisingly, he lists flying simulators as his favorite video games.
He resembles JFK but sounds like Dubya.
He became the first exile of the new La Mina tribe, in the fourth episode.
Under the influence of the younger members, he betrayed Ruth Marie and Dan at key points.
When the Gitanos (merged tribe) formed, he used a poorly-worded approach to get other players to flip sides.
He got into an argument with Cirie over her placement of her tribal torch.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a Lt. Commander in the U.S. Naval Academy's reserves (1978-1982).
He pilots the Airbus A300 for American Airlines.
He quarterbacked his high school football team to its first ever state playoff berth.
He recovered the first amulet in the first reward challenge.
His luxury item, won in a four-on-four reward challenge, was an American flag used on a casket for his father-in-law (also a soldier).
As the last surviving member of New La Mina, his immunity streak helped him eat into what the Casaya thought was a sure thing.
He won a 2007 GMC Yukon.
