Why Chucky (TV Series) might be annoying:

Creator Don Mancini admitted in an interview that the 'Curse of Chucky (2013)' and 'Cult of Chucky (2017)' films didn't do good at the box office, which is why he and his producers had to turn the films into a TV series, to keep the ratings up, after losing a lot of money from the 'Curse of Chucky' and 'Cult of Chucky' films.
The show can be too bloody, gruesome, scary and violent for children.
Jennifer Tilly admitted in an interview that she was most excited to work with Fiona Dourif the most onset, so they can do more make out scenes, being that their characters are a lesbian couple.
Alyvia Alyn Lind portrays a high school bully, who picks at (Zackary Arthur) Jake Wheeler for being different, and having an infatuation for dolls.
Devon Sawa portrays 3 different characters.
In continuity, creator Don Mancini bought all of the characters back. Except for the main 2 characters, which are Catherine Hicks and Chris Sarandon, where are they?

Why Chucky (TV Series) might not be annoying:

It has a really cool sinister and eerie theme song.
The show features gay romance scenes from both characters Jake and Devon, keeping the show and ratings very interesting to watch.
Mother and daughter characters Lexy Cross and Mayor Michelle Cross are portrayed by Alyvia Alyn Lind and Barbara Alyn Woods. But also in reality, they are also mother and daughter in real life.
Creator Don Mancini shared that the show doesn't have CGI. He says in a interview that they use visual effects to erase puppeteers, rods and cables, but the puppets themselves, are fully 100% animatronic.
The character of Jake Wheeler, portrayed by Zackary Arthur, is actually the real life story of Don Mancini growing up as a gay teenager.
Don Mancini wanted to share more about Chucky's past, by adding more storyline of his first kill as a kid, and dabbling into voodoo, to transfer his soul into the Chucky doll. Mancini felt that adding more of Chucky/Charles Lee Ray's storyline of what he never could add in the films, would keep the show more interesting to watch.
Alex Vincent and Christine Elise reprised both their roles as 'Andy Barclay' and 'Kyle', in 'Child's Play (1988)' and 'Child's Play 2 (1990)' to pick up, where the story left off in the films.
Chucky's original owner back in the 80's was Andy Barclay. Now Chucky's new owner is gay, which is Jake Wheeler. (Which means that Chucky may be a dangerous killer doll, but he is not a homophobe, which is very cool).
