    Acted in 'Our Gang' shorts 'Baby Brother (1927),' 'Crazy House (1928),' 'Bouncing Babies (1929),' 'When the Wind Blows (1930),' 'Teacher's Pet (1930),' 'Fly My Kite (1931),' 'Shiver My Timbers (1931),' 'A Lad an' a Lamp (1932),' 'Free Eats (1932),' 'Fish Hooky (1933)' and 'Mush and Milk (1933)'
    He entered show business when he was only two.
    He was called 'Wheezer' because he often ran around the studio until he started wheezing.
    He wore a beanie.
    He was typecast as a pesky little brother.
    His acting career began and ended with 'Our Gang.'
    His overbearing father would not allow him to play with the other 'Our Gang' kids.
    When he grew too old for 'Our Gang,' he entered public school and lived a normal life.
    He enlisted to fight in World War II as soon as he finished high school.
    He was killed in a plane crash during an army training drill.
    In 1990 Hal Roach called him 'a kid with great charm and wide appeal.'
