The Resume

Why Fox & Friends might be annoying:

It is Fox News' answer to The Today Show.
A Time Square hot dog vendor shut down his booth to avoid participating in one of their live weekend broadcasts.
Dr. Keith Ablow hosts a 'Dear Abby'-style segment helping viewers with their personal problems (called 'Normal or Nuts' - real subtle).
Co-hosts are highly susceptible to on-air pranks from guests.
For example, an interview with a 'disillusioned Obama supporter' completely derailed after it became clear that he was a merry prankster (2012).
They would never claim not to want a huge gay following, but one executive indicated as much: 'We reflect who the audience is.... we didn’t spend a lot of time discussing who won the Tony Awards.'
They provided Donald Trump with the platform necessary to lay the groundwork for his Presidential bid (as early as 2012, they had him on every Monday to discuss current events).
While a Fox program being friendly to Trump isn't anything strange in itself, their association with him was so strong that Newt Gingrich joked during one of their segments that 'Trump is the candidate Fox & Friends invented.' Their visibly uncomfortable reactions said it all.
It tends to be more openly partisan than its liberal counterparts, often coating heated/divisive viewpoints in a chipper morning-show-ready package (e.g. accusing Nickelodeon & Spongebob of 'pushing a global warming agenda,' calling Mr. Rogers 'evil' for 'ruining kids' by teaching them to feel special).
A television critic for TIME magazine criticized its harsh anti-Obama tone, writing: 'It’s hard to imagine a more over-the-top parody of Fox raw-meat-hurling, fear-stoking, base-pleasing agitprop.'

Why Fox & Friends might not be annoying:

What a cute name for a heatedly-partisan morning show!
It provided job security for Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
Some of their Live-TV pratfall 'fails' being outsmarted by passers-by on the street can be real popcorn material ('maybe a family restroom?')
At its peak, it was crushing its competition on CNN and MSNBC, in addition to being one of the top-rated shows on Fox.
Their 'Summer Concert Series' is known for featuring either top-tier or up-and-coming Country Music artists - catering to the demographic networks like ABC or NBC ignore.
Unlike their liberal counterparts, they make no attempt to hide that they have an angle to push (disregarding the whole 'Fair and Balanced' thing).
They gave Donald Trump the time to recuperate his image after the humiliation of the 'Birther' debacle of 2011.
They are parodied in a series of hilarious SNL sketches which in all fairness do veer towards exaggeration (the end-of-show disclaimers doesn't always feature THAT many factual corrections!)
A segment of Gretchen Carlson walking off the set after a sexist comment by Brian Kilmeade, went viral (what at the time was dismissed as diva behavior was apparently just the tip of the iceberg, in her case).
