    He was the second Rays rookie in a four year period to earn AL Rookie of the Year honors.
    He went 13-10 and recorded an ERA of 2.95 in his first full major league season (2011).
    He earned both AL Rookie and Pitcher of the Month awards in the month of May, 2011 which is considered a rare feat.
    He earned MVP honors in the Triple A championship game as a member of the Durham Bulls (2009).
