    Died when her rented sports car overturned and caught fire
    She made her stage debut at age 10.
    She is better remembered as Deneuve's sister and for her tragic death than for her acting.
    She was rushing to the airport to avoid missing a flight at the time of her fatal accident.
    She became a star before Deneuve, who was first cast in films because of Dorleac's success.
    Unlike the icy and remote Deneuve, she was known for her carefree joie de vivre.
    She has a nude scene in 'Cul-de-Sac.'
    She was burned so badly in the accident that police identified her based on her license, her diary and a fragment of her checkbook.
