Why he might be annoying:

He talked in a dull, monotone voice.
He was accused of fabricating quotes in his news columns.
The Republican Party has called some of his attacks on Democrats 'insane' and 'appalling.'
He used Robert Hanssen as a primary source for some of his news articles.
He exposed the name of CIA operative Valerie Plame, ending her secret investigation into the White House's faulty claims of Iraq's weapons of mass destruction.
Despite having a history of using questionable sources, he criticized a false CBS story on George W. Bush's National Guard service (2004).
On 'The Daily Show,' Jon Stewart refers to him as the 'Douchebag of Liberty.'
In response to a remark from James Carville, he cursed and stormed off the set of 'Inside Politics' (August 4, 2005).

He earned a bachelors degree at the University of Illinois (1952).
He served as a lieutenant in the Korean War.
He exposed Republican attempts to bribe House Representatives to vote 'yes' on Medicare reform.
