Baseball Player

The Resume

    (January 23, 1994- )
    Born in Pensacola, Florida
Birth name was Geoffreye O'Neal Addison Robert Watts Jr III
Shortstop for the Chicago Cubs (2015-19)
    World Series champion (2016)

Why he might be annoying:

He was born out of wedlock.
He legally changed his name from Geoffreye O'Neal Addison Robert Watts Jr III to Addison Wayne Russell when he was 13.
He injured himself during the Cubs 2015 NLDS, which would eventually cost them the NLCS (and make Back to the Future II's prediction inaccurate).
He has three children with three different women.
He was suspended by Major League Baseball after an investigation revealed he assaulted his wife in a domestic dispute (2018).
The charges played a factor in the Cubs decision to terminate his contract a year later.

Why he might not be annoying:

He overcame extreme poverty as a child to make it to the majors.
He is of Filipino and African-American heritage, but legally changed his name after he was adopted by his Caucasian stepfather.
He was one of the first African-American players to play for the Cubs in a World Series.
He unselfishly gave up his number 22 to Jason Heyward, when the latter signed with the team.
He was the first player in 11 years to hit a grand slam during a World Series game (2016).
