    He sung a song called 'Poor Me.'
    He argued constantly with Son House.
    The masters of some of his recordings got sold as scrap metal.
    There's barely any pictures of him known, the one shown is usually recycled.
    He was one of the first stars of blues.
    By 1929, he was the biggest selling blues artist around.
    His voice is so huge-sounding he sounds like a man twice his size.
    He is responsible for the fame of Willie Brown, Son House and Howlin' Wolf and influenced Robert Johnson.
    A box set 'Screamin' and Hollerin' the Blues: The Worlds of Charley Patton' has been called one of the most impressively packaged box sets in all of popular music.
