Why they might be annoying:

    Their music is classified as folk pop and indie pop but their sound is heavily melodic.
    Apparently, they didn’t think too long and hard on what to name their duo.
    They performed an unplugged version of Robin Thicke's ‘Blurred Lines’ on ‘The X Factor.’
    They were a couple but ended their romantic relationship a full year before announcing their split on social media.

Why they might not be annoying:

    They rely on acoustic instruments to back their singing.
    Sierra is of British and Vietnamese descent.
    Sierra is also a trained ballerina dancer.
    Alex attended the University of Central Florida.
    They received kudos for their acoustic cover of Britney Spears' 'Toxic.'
    Demi Lovato, a judge on The X Factor, loved their act.
    Their act ended on the heels of the breakup announcement in 2017.
    Each continued to pursue their separate music careers after the break up.
    They were mentored by Simon Cowell.
