Acted in 'Make Mine Mink (1960),' 'The Mouse on the Moon (1963),' 'The Avengers (1966-1967),' 'David Copperfield (1969),' 'Legend of the Werewolf (1975),' 'Benji's Very Own Christmas (1978),' 'The Spaceman and King Arthur (1979),' 'A Kid in King Arthur's Court (1995),' 'Revelation (2001)' and 'EastEnders (2003)'
Appeared in the Pet Shop Boys video 'It's a Sin (1987)'

Why he might be annoying:

He was typecast as conniving, insincere villains.
After making a big splash in 'Oliver!,' he mostly acted in crap like 'Benji's Very Own Christmas' and 'The Spaceman and King Arthur.'
He wrote, produced and starred in a play about a clown that was a colossal flop.
Shortly afterwards, he starred in a musical about Sherlock Holmes that one critic called 'ghastly, embarrassing and belittling to Holmes' legend.'
He was offered the lead role on 'Doctor Who,' but passed on it.

He didn't become an actor until he was nearly 30.
He was nominated for an Oscar for 'Oliver!'
