    (August 27, 1964-August 11, 2004)
    Born in United States
    Resided in Stuart, Florida
She stood 4'11 and weighed 478 pounds.
She sat on a couch for six years, so long that her skin became one with the fabric.
She died at the hospital from what was essentially a huge bedsore, still attached to the sofa.
Her home was so filthy that rescue workers had to wear protective gear.
She inspired an episode of 'Nip/Tuck' and a one-woman show by Topher Payne.
She died a few weeks before her birthday.
Many people saw her story as calling attention to problems associated with a sedentary lifestyle.
