Why he might be annoying:

    His draft selection drew fire by football pundits, who felt he was both overweight and inexperienced to be a first round pick.
    He was routinely snubbed from the Pro Bowl during his prime years.
    He lost three toes on his left foot as a result of a lawnmower accident, prior to the start of his senior year of high school.
    His career ended due to a back injury.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was able to play at a high level, despite losing three toes on his left foot.
    He proved the critics wrong by winning the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Award (1994).
    He was one of the anchors of the Dolphins defense during the late 1990's and early 2000's.
    He was the last active player on the Dolphins roster to have played under Don Shula.
