    Born in Hollsopple, Pennsylvania
    Drafted 59th overall by the New York Giants in the 1984 NFL Draft
    Quarterback for the New York Giants (1984-92), Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders (1993-96) and the Washington Redskins (1997-98)

Why he might be annoying:

    He transferred from Penn State to West Virginia after he was beat out for the starting quarterback position.
    He was sparingly used during his five seasons with the Giants.
    He was injury prone as a starting quarterback.
    He was relegated to backup duties for the final few seasons of his career.
    Some football pundits felt he would only play his best during the playoffs.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He earned two Super Bowl rings as a member of the Giants (1986, 1991).
    He was the Giants starting quarterback in Super Bowl XXV, after Phil Simms was forced to miss the game due to injury.
    He earned a Pro Bowl appearance during his second season as the Raiders starting quarterback.
    He started a construction business following his retirement from the NFL.
    He is a descendant of Jacob Hochstetler, one of the first Amish-Mennonite emigrants to the United States.
