Why he might be annoying:

He was charged with resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer outside an Orlando nightclub (2003).
As a member of the Mavericks, he went over the public address system prior to a game and yelled 'How about them Redskins!' hours after they defeated the Cowboys.
The stunt earned him a $1000 fine from the NBA.
At the Slam Dunk competition, he did a reverse layup which was deemed the worst dunk in the history of the competition (1996).
He has assorted tattoos.
He named his son Darrell Armstrong Jr.

He made the Orlando Magic as an undrafted player (1995).
He grew up a Washington Redskins fan and wore #3 to honor Mark Mosley.
He worked the graveyard shift at the Dixie Yarn Mill, following the demise of the GBA.
He played in Europe for a few seasons after college until signing a contract with the Magic.
He established a foundation for parents of premature children.
He is considered one of the league's under-rated defensive players.
