    She co-hosted an Air America radio show with a 9-11 ‘truther.’ (2005-06)
    During a discussion of ‘the new feminism,’ she said, ‘'These women who act like staying at home, leeching off their husbands or boyfriends, and just cashing the checks is some sort of feminism because they're choosing to live that life.     She joined the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus in the House.

    A New York man was arrested for stalking her (2018).
    She was the first openly bisexual member of the House of Representatives and the Senate.
