He was short.
Police arrested him for possessing an illegal AK-47 and menacing his wife, Triza Njeri (December 2010).
In May 2011, Triza caught him in bed with another lady, locked them in the room, and ran out of their home.
Moments later, he jumped from the balcony, hoping to stop Triza from leaving the premises.

Why he might not be annoying:

He brought Kenya their first gold medal in Marathon.
At just 21, he reigned as the youngest Olympic marathon champion since 1932.
He set an Olympic record, winning in 2 hours, 6 minutes and 32 seconds.
Mourners suggested his domestic squabbles may have been a case of too much success too soon.
