He alternated between the Chargers and the 1995 expansion teams.
He failed to repeat the same degree of success with the Chargers as he did in his first stint with the team.
He was known as 'Nana' by his family and friends.
He originally complained about Chris Berman referring to him as Natrone 'Refried' Means during his commentary, which prompted the latter to use a different name.
He became an injury prone running back, who lacked consistency following his breakout season.
