Owns Starbucks and NBA's Seattle Supersonics
His Starbucks idea (1987) stems from European coffee culture.
His company mascot, a mermaid, is topless and sports an immodest pose with her legs that appear as fins.
Although Schultz did not really intend for this to happen, Starbucks has become a symbol of excessive consumerism with people spending up to five dollars for a drink they can make for a lot less money at home.
He was raised in a housing project in Brooklyn.
Millions of people love Starbucks Coffee.
Starbucks has become a case study for successful businesses.
He was determined to increase NBA championship fan support in Seattle.
A football scholarship enabled him to attend a university.
He paid $250 million for the Seattle Supersonics.
Providing his Starbucks employees with health care & stock option benefits is a high priority because his dad never had benefits.
His goal was to form a company people could respect, something he wished his dad could have had.
He owns the rights to one of the most recognizable logo's (Starbucks).
