    He has a tattoo of the Princeton tiger on his butt.
    As Secretary of Labor, he forced construction unions to admit a certain number of black members by an enforced deadline in the first use of racial quotas by the federal government.
    He has been called the father of the Bush Doctrine for his advocacy of 'preventive war.'

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was a Marine captain in World War II.
    He signed a New York Times ad declaring, 'We believe the global war on drugs is now causing more harm than drug abuse itself' (1998).
    He observed, 'I learned in business that you had to be very careful when you told somebody that's working for you to do something, because the chances were very high he'd do it. In government, you don't have to worry about that.'
