Why they might be annoying:

    Their name sounds anti-gay.
They broke up after college and found real jobs.
When they got a contract 10 years later, they quit their jobs.
    They are a bit schticty.

Why they might not be annoying:

The group formed for fun by 10 friends attending college in Indiana.
10 years after their break up, their old videos were put on Youtube just for a goof.
It got over 7 million views in December 2007 alone, and one viewer was the CEO of Atlantic records.
Atlantic Records offered them a record contract, which got them to reform.
Their song was #1 on Amazon for 2 weeks and #1 on iTunes for 5 days.
They make you forget that there are no instruments playing.
