U.S. Congressman

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He refuses to go to any family events if his sister and her same-sex partner attend.
He advocates posting the ten commandments in public places.
He was arrested for DWI, with a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit (May 1, 2008).
After he was bailed out by Laura Fay, he admitted to an extramarital affair with Fay and fathering her three-year-old son.

Why he might not be annoying:

He reached across the aisle to join Hillary Clinton in raising awareness of health problems suffered by rescuers and clean-up workers at the World Trade Center site after 9/11.
He has criticized how the Bush administration appropriates Homeland Security funds.
If his proposal to post the Ten Commandments in public had been adopted, maybe he would have been reminded of Number Seven in time.
