Football Coach
    (July 31, 1956- )
    Born in Chicago, Illinois
Head coach of the Oakland Raiders (2002-03) and the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers (2004-07)
He never played in an NFL game during his playing career.
He refused to change the playbook after taking over as the Raiders head coach.
His team was defeated badly by the Buccaneers in Super Bowl 37 (2003).
Some football pundits felt his success during the 2002 season was as a result of coaching the same team Jon Gruden had the year before.
He pissed off the Raiders front office by referring to their players as washed up prima donnas.
He was accused of deliberately tanking the 2003 season by his players.
He guided the Raiders to the Super Bowl during his first season as the team's head coach.
He served as offensive co-ordinator on Jon Gruden's coaching staff prior to being promoted to head coach.
He is considered an offensive minded coach.
He was instrumental in the resurgence of Rich Gannon.
Some football pundits felt that his firing was a result of him voicing his concerns about the direction of the team.
