His ’Soap’ character got into yellow face in one episode, pretending to be Asian.
Despite having MANY years of acting experience before ‘Blossom’ he was the last billed in the show’s opening credits.
He was even billed after Jenna Von Oy and Joey Lawrence. - OUCH!!!
He used to sport a mullet.
He attempted to continue Peter Sellers’ legacy in the ‘Pink Panther’ movie series but fell short.
He portrayed Jennie Garth's lover in the television movie ‘Star,’ with Garth being 20 years his junior.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a hunk during the early 80’s…and still is!
His first wife died from ovarian cancer in 1993.
He ages well.
In the latter stage of his career, he directed many television shows that include The Jeff Foxworthy Show; Two Broke Girls; Two Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place, Big Bang Theory; Spin City and Last Man Standing.
He also directed 18 episodes of ‘Blossom.’
