    He once said, 'Most science fiction is quite frankly nonsense.'
    A couple of TV episodes are his only work to be filmed.
    He quit writing science fiction twice for several years each time.
    He wrote travel guides.
    He won the first Hugo for Best Novel. That's kind of a big deal to some people.
    He was married for almost 50 years.
