Why he might be annoying:

He claims 'DeStorm Power' is his actual real name (presumably given at birth).
He started out as a record label ghostwriter.
His attempts to break into the music industry as a vocalist have been largely futile.
One of his first breaks was a winning submission for the 'Wonderful Pistachios Get Crackin' contest.
He was also a finalist in a Heinz Ketchup commercial contest in 2011.
He helped Larry King push his online news 'Now' show in one of his videos.
He hosts the 'Punk'd' reboot (with Vine collaborator King Bach), which most celebrities loathe with a passion .
He allegedly got the Punk'd gig by being asked to tell a story to the executives, at which point he 'got up, slammed everything off the desk,' and 'stood on the desk' to tell the story.
He sang the roles of Mr. T. and Kanye West in webisodes for 'Epic Rap Battles of History.'
He complained about the broken view counter for his channel in an op-ed for 'New Media Rock Stars.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He grew up with seven siblings.
He collaborated with the late Christina Grimmie.
He played music in subway stations while homeless in New York City.
He was a personal trainer and an Olympic-level athlete in the triple jump.
His career as a YouTube sensation sprung out of his posting fitness training Vlogs on the internet.
He won a YouTube Music Award for Innovation of the Year (2013) and a Streamy Award for Best Vine Comedian (2014).
He ranked #85 on the New Media Rockstars Top 100 Channels (2015).
He sang the part of Shaka Zulu in one of the more popular 'Epic Rap Battles' against Julius Caesar.
His YouTube skits are hilarious; usually revolving around everyday life situations (opening fortune cookies, not having exact change, etc.) with a surrealistic twist.
