    Pled guilty to 1st degree manslaughter of Jennifer Levin (August 26, 1986)
    Released from prison (February 14, 2003)
    Nicknamed the 'Preppie Murderer'
    He was kicked out of various prep schools due to drug abuse and stealing.
    He was thrown out of Boston University over a stolen credit card.
    He left a bar with Jennifer Levin the night of her killing. She was discovered strangled to death in Central Park.
    The next morning, when police questioned Chambers, fresh scratches were on his face and arms. He blamed his cat for the injuries.
    Chambers claimed Jennifer Levin sexually assaulted him, even though he was a foot taller and nearly 100 pounds heavier.
    After the plea deal, TV show 'A Current Affair' showed a video tape of him partying with girls in lingerie and twisting the head off a doll (April 1988).
    He had a terrible prison record, losing all of his good behavior time and serving 5 years in solitary confinement.
    On November 29, 2004, he was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
    He was fined $200 and sentenced to 100 days in jail, with an additional 10 days, for showing up to court an hour late (August 29, 2005).
    He was the son of Irish immigrants.
    He was an altar boy.
    At 6'4 and 200 pounds, women considered him very sexy.
    The Levin Family won a wrongful death suit where his future income, including book or movie deals, would be turned over to them.
    Ellen Levin, Jennifer's mom, became an advocate for victim's rights.
