Why he might be annoying:

    His actual name is Jerold Taylor.
    He was a nomad during his tenure as an assistant coach, before landing the head coaching position at Hofstra.
    His tenure at Villanova was nearly derailed after his third season due to his team being involved in a phone card scandal.
    Prior to 2016, his teams had a reputation for being good, but not good enough for a deep playoff run.
    He is considered too hypercompetitive as a coach.

Why he might not be annoying:

    His leadership was instrumental in the turnarounds of both the Hofstra and Villanova programs.
    He turned the Villanova men's basketball program into a powerhouse during the mid 2000's.
    He guided Villanova to its first NCAA championship in 31 years (2016).
    His laid back demeanor made him a favorite amongst his players and media personalities alike.
    He declined various NBA job offers to stay at Villanova, citing he enjoys it there too much to leave.
