Why she might be annoying:

She flew a space mission while she was pregnant.
Because of her, all female astronauts have to give a pregnancy test before flying in space.
Her final mission STS-114 was disrupted by several errors, including the damaging of shuttle heat shields.
She was a math teacher.

Why she might not be annoying:

She served her country in the Air force during the U.S invasion of Grenada.
She holds a master of science degree in operations research from Stanford University and master of arts degree in space systems management from Webster University.
She retired from NASA so she can spend time with her family.
She commanded NASA's first shuttle flight after the Columbia disaster.
NASA administrator Michael Griffin described her as 'a living example of the best our nation has to offer.'
