    Before his music career, he was a promising Australian rules football player, winning the Victorian Football League's award for best first year player (2008).
    He said, 'I'm attracted to songs where you can hear someone singing with passion and being vulnerable.'
    'Riptide' stayed on the Australian top 100 singles chart for 120 weeks, breaking the previous record of 106 weeks held by Lady Gaga's 'Poker Face.'
