Why he might be annoying:

His films are quirky.
You have to ‘get’ his humor to enjoy his films.
He constantly makes references to Charlie Brown.
His films seem to be received by critics and audiences as either very good or very bad.
He always includes underwater shots (with a character swimming) in his films.
He always ends his films with a slow motion shot.

Why he might not be annoying:

His soundtracks are almost always made up of 60s and 70s British rock.
He frequently works with Bill Murray, Gene Hackman, and Owen Wilson, whom he went to University with.
Martin Scorsese loves Anderson’s films (he lists ‘Bottle Rocket’ as one of his top 10 films of the 90s) and said that ‘he has a very special kind of talent; he knows how to convey the simple joys and interactions between people so well and with such richness.’
He was nominated for a Best Screenplay BAFTA and Best Screenplay Oscar for ‘The Royal Tenenbaums.’
