She used to smoke.
She has a birthmark on her right eye which gives the appearance that it's darker than the other eye.
Prior to appearing on NCIS: Los Angeles, she was a cast member on several Portuguese telenovelas.
She says she never thinks of herself as someone who does comedy.

Why she might not be annoying:

In 2007, she was the winner of the Portugese version of 'Dancing With the Stars.'
She obtained a BA in Performing Arts from London Metropolitan University.
She participates in charities which include the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and one that helps children in Uganda get a good education.
She ranked #88 in Maxim's 100 Sexiest Women (2010).
