    Has won nine World Fantasy Awards, two Bram Stoker Awards and the Locus and Hugo Award four times apiece

    She has never had any of her own stuff published and works strictly as an editor.

    Despite being the most respected editor in horror and fantasy writing, she admits to still being nervous editing popular writers.
    She likes to travel but says she doesn't want to live anywhere but New York.
    She quit the SciFi Channel's website when they changed it from genuine science fiction website to just an advertising tool for the SciFi Channel.
    She genuinely loves and is enthusiastic about her work.
    She's one of the most respected and decorated editors in the history of sci-fi/fantasy/horror.
