Biblical Characters

The Resume

Why they might be annoying:

Religious accounts mix faith, interpretation, fantasy and historical reality making accuracy suspect.
Babylon conquered the Kingdom of Judah and forced them and the tribes of Judah and Levi into exile (586 BC).
Persia conquered Babylon, 50 years later and allowed them and the tribes of Judah and Levi to return to the Kingdom of Judah (539 BC).
They were aligned with Joseph but chose to join Israel, while Joseph chose to join the Kingdom of Judah.
The Battle at Gibeah started because they were inhospitable to their fellow tribes.
After the Battle at Gibeah, they were systematically slaughtered (including women and children).
In typical biblical insanity, the warring tribes decided to allow this tribe to survive. They kill all the men in a neighboring town and gave the widows to the remaining members of Benjamin.
Rachel died near Bethlehem giving birth to Benjamin.
