    Author, Dramatist and Playwright
    His books were somewhat controversial for the amount of sex they featured.
    He married a woman half his age.
    A few of his plays were banned from the stage.
    At sixteen, he began visiting prostitutes.
    He was promiscuous and was often with several different women at the same time.
    He had a doctorate in medicine and worked as doctor at Vienna's General Hospital.
    His daughter committed suicide.
    Hitler called his books 'Jewish Filth' and had them banned.
    His works showed a deep understanding of psychology, the unconscious and the subconscious.
    His play 'Professor Bernhardi' outraged anti-Semites because of it's portrayal of a Jew who refused to compromise his convictions.
    Stanley Kubirck turned his book 'Dream Story' into a film re-titled 'Eyes Wide Shut' (1999).
