Why Innsbruck, Austria might be annoying:

    Jakob Hutter was burned at the stake here (February 25, 1536).
    It was the site of the KZ Innsbruck-Reichenau concentration camp during World War II.
    It was bombed heavily twenty-two times by the Allies, killing 461 people and destroying many historical buildings in the process. (December 15, 1943-April 20, 1945)
    Afterwards, its popularity didn't recover until the 1964 Winter Olympics.
    During the summer, the temperature can drop as low as 10°C after sunset.

    It is a popular tourist attraction thanks to its historical landmarks that reflect its rich history.

    It houses Austria's third largest student population, which explains its vibrant nightlife.
