Why she might be annoying:

    She comes from a much different, less-storied Kapoor family tree.
    In school, she admitted to being a naughty and carefree bully, particularly toward boys.
    She admits to being… less than tactful (calling one ‘60-something porn writer’ columnist ‘a fossil who’s getting no action and going through menopause’).
    She had standard and non-standard weight issues in her teenage years — including a resistance to insulin!
    Her first job – as a 15-year-old waitress – lasted a measly week!
    It is not uncommon in B’wood for an actress to be more known for what she wears than what she does; she’s definitely no exception.

Why she might not be annoying:

    In addition to Kathak and Latin dance, she excelled at basketball and rugby.
    She originally wanted to work behind the scenes in the film industry, as her sister Rhea – also an actress and film producer – did.
    She won all of her nominations for ‘Neerja’ and two of the three for ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ (though one was the Bollywood version of the Golden Raspberry).
    For her 27th birthday, she called on her fan base to donate to the Ogaan Cancer Foundation, with which she collaborated to address breast cancer.
    She regards Hinduism as a way of ‘reminding myself that I need to be thankful for so much.’
    She vows to have a boyfriend with no connection to the film industry.
