As the Raindrops, they were one-hit wonders.
Barry left his first wife to marry Greenwich.
Their marriage broke up in late 1965, followed by their songwriting partnership, when they decided collaborating was too awkward, especially on love songs.
Barry helped inflict bubblegum music on the world as a producer/songwriter for The Archies.
The Raindrops came close to a second hit with 'That Boy John,' but it was dropped from radio playlists after the JFK assassination.
Together they wrote 5 Number One hits, and Barry wrote a pair of additional #1s.
They discovered Neil Diamond and produced his first records.
Barry's 'I Honestly Love You' won the American Music Award for Song of the Year (1974).
