    He spent parts of three seasons shuffling between the Cubs and their AAA affiliate.
    He won the NL Rookie of the Year award in his fourth season with the team.
    Because of his name, some people assume he is Italian.
    Despite posting impressive numbers in AAA, he saw limited playing time under former manager Dusty Baker.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He is the first Cubs catcher in 100 years to start playoff games in consecutive seasons.
    He served as the catcher for teammate Carlos Zambrano's no-hitter in his rookie season.
    He was the National League's starting catcher in the 2008 MLB All-Star Game.
    He was the first Cubs position player in 19 years to win NL Rookie of the Year honors.
